NBC
THE TONIGHT SHOW + DOOH
Large-format motion and DOOH work across NBC, led by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in Times Square and supported by campaign work for NBC facility screens.
Case Study 01
The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon
Key art adaptation and large-format motion developed for The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon across NBC screens and the Times Square Digital Beast.
01 / Challenge
Times Square is a brutal environment for design. Competing signage, ambient light, and pedestrian traffic moving in every direction. The Tonight Show key art needed to hold franchise identity and read legibly at large scale in under two seconds.
02 / Approach
Adapted the existing Tonight Show key art into a vertical motion system, establishing hierarchy, contrast, and timing rules built for the format. Motion pacing calibrated for large-format outdoor where the viewer is moving and the read window is short.
03 / Execution
Partnered with a VFX artist on looping motion graphics for the Times Square Digital Beast, developing a motion-first approach that diverged from standard key art adaptation.
Case Study 02
NBC Facility Screens + DOOH
Finished and adapted creative for NBC facility screens, adding typography, motion, and design elements across multiple entertainment properties.
01 / Challenge
Each NBC property came with established key art and motion foundations. The work needed to stay readable at large scale while preserving the identity of each show.
02 / Approach
Worked within existing motion templates and visual systems to refine type hierarchy, contrast, layout, pacing, and placement across multiple screen formats.
03 / Execution
Finished and delivered looping motion graphics for NBC facility screens and large-format DOOH, including The Tonight Show, SNL 50, and The Voice.
